Development of biotechnologies tops Algeria's national priorities 10 June 2013:Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Rachid Harraoubia, said here on Sunday that the development of biotechnologies, factors of reduction of food dependency and environment preservation are "among top national priorities", Algeria Press Service (APS) reported. Chairing the opening ceremony of the national conference on biotechnologies, at the Research Centre of Biotechnology (CRBT) at Ali-Mendjeli, here, the minister said that researches in biotechnologies, which always take a "privileged place" in numerous countries, constitute a "strategy of development" in Algeria.
