Fut créée et inaugurée par Sa Majesté le Roi Hassan II Le 16 octobre 1962
"… Le Maroc n'a pas créé une Faculté de médecine, par vanité mais parce que son utilité est indéniable. Les médecins qui seront formés à Rabat apprendront, en plus de ce métier qu'ils ont choisi d'exercer, le rôle social et humanitaire que comporte leur vocation. Cette Faculté doit être donc aussi une école de civisme et de sacrifice…" Sa Majesté le Roi HASSAN II (discours d'inauguration de la Faculté de médecine et de Pharmacie de Rabat)
